I am a recovering small-town reporter committed to writing in the margins of my life. I tend to write about the things we talk about on the way home from the party but don't actually put in the scrapbook. Inside out on paper is how I live amid caffeine cravings and co-pays. And I like it that way.
Talking to strangers and eavesdropping in public are two of my favorite things, I even go so far as to call it working. A writer, I believe, is always on the clock.
